Parking at the entrance to Maple Leaf Drive continues to be a serious problem.  Cars are parking on the bends causing drivers to drive on the wrong side of the road and are meeting oncoming traffic.  Those drivers who are unaware of the parking issues will one day be caught in a nasty collusion.   In 2008 there was a near fatal accident involving a pizza delivery biker and we ask all residents to be cautious and not to park near to the entrance and keep speeds to a minimum. We are discussing the possibility with the council of arranging for yellow lines to be provided which will ensure that the entrance remains clear.

Rowanwood Avenue continues to have problems during school hours with parents parking over driveways and blocking the road while waiting for their children.  Again the enforcement of yellow lines is being looked at.
